One Month until Christmas!

That's right we are only one month from Christmas! So I've been doing my investigating on my family and how cool is it that one of my kids' has a birthday today, I've been really busy trying to keep up with class, today was our last day at Miss Marla Mapleberry's Manners Management and Friday is graduation day from Training Camp and we are off. I heard from the reindeer that Santa is sending out letters to the families this week. It's hush hush because some of the elves were not happy about their Jobs over the next month and Santa did not want any interfearance from them?

So tonight I am busy getting all of my things ready for my journey. I cannot ever recall being so excited and nervous at the same time in all of my life!!

Tomorrow I am going to work on writting my letter to my kids. I really hope they like me! I already love them just from what I have read they seem like really great kids.

Introducing My Host Family

I could hardly wait to get home from Training Camp today, We got the names of our Holiday Host Family! I get to visit a family of 5, they are from Minnesota. Luckily the mom seems pretty on top of things and keeps blogs and info online for the children, so I can get to know more about them before my visit. The oldest is Zack, he is 10 1/2 he has a facebook page, but it is set to private so his mom can keep tabs on the activity, thats pretty smart I guess? Anyhow, Santa used his magic to let me into his page so I could read a bit about him. It doesnt look like he's updated recently, but from what I can tell he likes Pokemon, soccer, webkinz, and video games. Sounds like my kind of kid! Next there is Preston, he seems like a barrel of laughs,  He is just about to turn 6. I was reading on his site and it says he likes music, and playing his guitar, and that he likes to make stuff. From what I can tell he really likes camouflage, and he goes to something called Kindergarten. I have to look more into what type of facility that is. Then there is a little girl, her name is questionable, on her website it says she's a Princess. She is reffered to as Eliana, Ellee, Lucy, L... and a ton of other things, poor kid must be really confused, I know I sure was.  She is a cute little thing, she has curly hair and a sweet little smile. Apparently she likes to cause alot of mischief, I think we will get along GREAT! The mom's name is Micki, I wonder if she knows Mickey Mouse? she keeps in contact with the cyber world on her blog, facebook, and a bunch of message boards, this woman is everywhere, she also has a business website for Photography, she does an ok job taking pictures, might have to swap notes with her durring my visit. And then there is the Dad, his name is Dan, kind of reminds me of Santa claus with his rosey red cheeks. He spends alot of time at work, and doing outdoorsy things like hunting and fishing. it says in my notes that he is a real jokester and likes to pull pranks.

Here is their Christmas card from last year =)  Overall my family looks really great. I can hardly wait to go see them. This weeks assignment for Training camp is to learn as much as we can about our Holiday Host Family. I think it will be fun :)

The Latest and Greatest

I have so much news to report back to all of you! Halloween was a BLAST, my stinkin camera went on the fritz tho. I put a new one on the top of my list for Christmas this year, I am going stir crazy with out my memory saver. I'm hoping someone else got some good pictures of us dressed up before we went trick or treating. It was so great to knock on doors and people give you candy, I had a pretty bad belly ache when reporting for my first day of Training Camp on Saturday.

Training camp is a major information overload. Today We were given a whole list of manners to practice before we leave for duty. I found out that we can't interact with our family... only when they aren't looking. Santa gave us each special mailboxes, he said that we can ask our host family to help us decorate them. On Monday we will get to find out who our host families will be. Only 5 more days. There is so much excitement in the air! Everyone has all their holiday decorations polished up and ready to go for this years holiday season, every where you look you can see the magic of Christmas beeming brightly!

Mrs Claus made us all special sleeping bags that will help restore our magic each night, and Frosty gave us some special Magic snow to put inside. My best friend, ED is helping me make sleighs so far we finished Penelope and BB's, and mine is almost complete. Hopefully we will have enough time to make ED one too.

Well I better log off for the night, Training camp starts bright and early and there is no tollerence for sleepy heads, sure hope my host family lets me sleep in.
