The most Boo-tiful time of the year :)

We still have another week before we get to go to Halloween town, we set up a poll to see what our friends and family thought we should dress up as for Halloween,  it seems like my original thought of Pirates was pretty well liked, it had the highest rating with 9 out of 10 stars by most voters, so I think I better be visiting Sassy to see what she can make us ;)

I wonder what the kids will be dressing up as?

This weekend Trixie was looking at Mom's facebook page, it was her birthday, and her and the kids had alot of fun, Dad was off on a hunting adventure.  They went to The Rainforest Cafe for dinner,

Mom said it was the best day EVER! and from the looks of it I'd probably agree!

I remember last year at this time when I had just gotten my official orders to become a Magic Shelf Elf, it is the BEST job EVER!!

Back to School

The kids all headed back to school this month. It is so fun to get to watch them grow up!
Z headed off to his last year of gradeschool

PD headed off to 1st grade

and L to her last year of preschool

Tomorrow marks 100 days until Christmas, I really am getting anxious! 

Next month is Halloween, I think Elvin, Trixie and I should dress up and take a trip to Halloween town, We'd make a pretty cool crew of Pirates don't you think?

Summer is comming to an end

I know that my kids are a bit sad to see summer end, they have had a summer jam packed with fun and adventures, Bonfires

and Swimming

at the cabin were among a few of the many adventures in August!

But another month over means one month closer to Christmas!!  And just incase you didn't know Christmas is my favorite time of year, this year for Christmas I am especially excited because I will get to spend the whole season with my new friends, Elvin and Trixie!! The fun we have been talking about is almost too much to handle!  We are going to give our kids a Christmas they will NEVER forget!  We have been talking about the three of us working on this blog, They have never done a blog before so they dont really want to have their own, but I figure that they should get with the times don't you?  I think I will talk with them again about it, Elvin has never even used a computer, can you imagine? being 104 and NEVER using one? Crazy, he is taking a typing class at the Elf acadamy right now, he seems to be picking it up really quick!  I'm sure it won't be long and he will be an internet adict ;)

Summer Vacation, Friends and FUN!

July has been such a fun month, not only for my family who took an awesome vacation to Duluth and the North Shore

They sure make me laugh :)  It looks like they had a GREAT time!

I got to meet PD and L's Fabulous new Elves, Santa said that Mrs Claus would get the honor of helping them choose names, and with out further ado, I would like to introduce you to

They are so awesome, I can tell that this is the begining of a beautiful friendship!  We are going to have so much fun together!!!

Halfway!

We are halfway done with the year WOO HOO!! only 5 more months until I get to go stay with my family again, There is alot of excitement at their house with talk about going to some Red Rock, I was pretty confused about the whole thing so I had to do a little bit of investigating, and I'm so happy that I did, Red Rock, is a week long FAMILY Bible camp!!  How FUN!!  in my investigations, I learned that Mom started going there when she was in 5th grade, Nana used to teach crafts there and even Great Grams attended in the past. They have met a lot of Friends there over the years. This year, Mom is doing Crafts with the Preschoolers and Junior High campers, I bet they will have alot of fun!

There is not much going on up at the North Pole, June is our last month of down time before the world of Craziness starts to pick back up in July, when The kids leave for Bible Camp their Elves will be comming to the North Pole for their official Meet and Greet with Santa and the Top Elves, I get to go too because we will be working together, I'm so nervous, I really hope they like me!

Happy 11 to the Z-man

My oldest kid, Zack turned 11 this week, I really love how much my family loves adventure, he celebrated his birthday with an awesome Letterboxing birthday, Mom made all his guests letterboxing starter kids, back packs, notepads, and let them each choose their own stamp,

The kids all seemed to have alot of fun down at 7 mile creek finding their first ever Letter Box, if you don't know what letter boxing is, I totally recomend you check it out for some FREE Family fun!!

Other big news this month is that L addopted an elf of her own at a garage sale last month!!  So now all three kids will have an elf of their own, How cool that I get assigned to Z the month of his birthday, I'm so excited to meet the new elves!

Pirates of the Caravan..

So I know in February, I was totally bragging about how awesome, my family's mom is but really, after you read this post, if you dont agree you must have a SERIOUS case of bahumbugs.  For Easter, She took the kids and Great Grams on a Grand adventure all the way down to Nashville Tennessee to visit Nana and Papa and meet some new friends,

I'm sure most of you would assume she bought some video games and dvd players to keep them occupied for the 17 hours it took to drive down, but you are SOOOO wrong, Instead she planned out a pirate adventure, she also made them all sorts of cool costumes and Loot, and treasure maps of the trip... Cool right? I know!!!

I am so jealous that I missed out on this awesome trip!  next time I am TOTALLY going with!
